Short and plain.
How Albino Voices handles your data. We collect the bare minimum, keep it as long as we need to, and tell you what for.
- 01
What we collect
Newsletter email — only when you subscribe to The Sunday Letter. Stored at our email provider and used to send you the letter. Nothing else.
Contact-form messages — name, email, and the message you wrote. Read by a human, kept while we work on it, deleted once closed.
Anonymous traffic data — page views, country, referrer. We do not track individuals across sessions and we do not run ad-network pixels.
- 02
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (theme preference, CSRF). No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers in production.
If we ever add analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting provider (Plausible, Fathom, or self-hosted) and update this page first.
- 03
Who sees your data
Only Albino Voices editors and the operators of our infrastructure (hosting, database, email service). We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Donations are processed by Every.org — read Every.org's own privacy notice for how they handle payment data. We do not see your card details.
- 04
Your rights
Request a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Write to privacy@albinovoices.org — we respond within thirty days.
- 05
Children
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please write to us and we will remove it.
- 06
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice in a material way, we will say so at the top of the page and email anyone on the newsletter. The date below tracks the most recent revision.
